BGSU Student 健康保险 Program

学生 are required to be covered by health insurance that provides coverage for medical and mental health in Northwest Ohio while attending BGSU and the University provides student health insurance through United 健康Care Student 资源.

Domestic and 国际学生 Waive/Enroll 健康保险 Requirements

Domestic students who are taking 8 or more credit hours on main campus will need to be covered by the student health insurance plan or WAIVE the coverage if they are covered by another health insurance plan each academic year.* 

All 国际学生s, 不管学时多少, are required to enroll in the BGSU student health insurance plan, unless they meet one of the few exemptions.

Voluntary Dental Insurance

Domestic and 国际 students who are enrolled in the BGSU student health insurance plan have the option to enroll in the United 健康care Student 资源 dental insurance plan.
